My practice was created out of passion and drive for helping keep our community safe as well as striving to help juveniles and adults involved in the criminal justice system. I firmly believe that OUR MISTAKES DO NOT DEFINE US!
At Flynn Counseling, LLC, you will receive a judgement-free approach to treatment. This same philosophy also extends to the evaluations I provide. My top priority as a clinician are my clients and the safety of the community.
My Therapeutic Approaches Include: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, The Good Lives Model, Risk-Needs-Responsivity Model, and overall Psycho-education.
Good Faith Estimate Information: Flynn Counseling, LLC DOES NOT accept insurance. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
● You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. ● Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. ● If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. ● Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
About Lindsey
I was born in Wisconsin and moved to Colorado in 2012 to attend graduate school and absolutely fell in love with what Colorado has to offer. Being from Wisconsin makes me an avid Green Bay Packers Fan (Sorry Broncos fans). In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching anything sports related, and spending time with my yellow lab/golden retriever mix puppy!
I have been working in the mental health field since 2012. I have experience in different levels of treatment that includes outpatient, intensive outpatient, and now private practice. I have a background in working with eating disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and trauma-related symptoms. I currently specialize in working with at-risk youth and their families. I have a passion for helping people discover their true selves and detach from their shame.
